Artist Statement
Art is an unfolding evolution of consciousness and comes to us from unseen worlds through the human soul and spirit. It is my mission in creating works of art to bring art into the realm of the tangible to bridge man’s consciousness to these other worlds. Art is a communion and a prayer existing in a time frame in which the art piece itself is the tangible result. Art unveils truth, beauty, and spirit. It inquires back at us from lofty heights urging us to ask the questions. Without art at all levels of society mankind will be abandoned in the movement of the world’s evolution and ultimately lose his freedom.

Artist Biography
Alicia was first recognized as a talented artist at age 9. Her primary painting medium is watercolor but also uses acrylics and oils. She has published articles for various magazines and journals and is writing a book which includes her art. An R.N. with a Master of Arts in Psychology, she maintains a part time psychotherapy practice.

Color a dream with a carpet of roses
follow the scent to distant shores
Where we are boundless in our attempts
to know ourselves
and the world, the place we stand and occupy for this brief encore,
Where we want our best....
to shine blindingly bright and new...
